LG appliance problems are not limited to just kitchen appliances. Apparently there is a class action lawsuit for LG washing machines.
According to the filing a defect in the machine causes a mold and mildew build up in the dishwasher. Nice. Once again, nice job LG.

My one-year-old LG has just completely ruined the carpet in the wash room area. Apparently it has been leaking for a while!! I’ve just pulled up thousands of dollars of carpeting. Am selling my house, but the wet carpet and damaged woodwork certainly don’t help sell the house! Thanks, LG!!
I purchased a LG Washer & Dryer three years ago. The washer was installed on a concrete floor base in my home. I moved to a new home with the laundry room over a second floor. Now when the washer spins the vibration is so severe the light fixtures, walls, floors within 20 feet are vibrating, the two by four studs in the walls have friction. I had to purchase a new washer before my house was seriously effected. The LG was an expensive purchase. LG had no solution but to tell me the sales person should have told me that the washer needs to be installed on a concrete floor. Come on LG, how dumb do you think we consumers are?
Our LG model LDF6920 is leaking again. It is so bad we need to put a towel under the door. The hardwood floor is getting wrecked. LG replaced our original machine. I needed to discover the secret code. You had to say the repair folks deemed it was not fixable. Replaced the door and motor. Replaced the motor again. Their “customer service” is non existent. You will spend way too much time getting the runaround. We are now at the point of ripping the thing out and just buying some other brand. I would never buy an LG product again.
My wife bought a new Bosch dishwasher today to replace our New 2 year old or so LG boat anchor. I have given up on trying to get LG to stand behind their product. I am ripping out the LG on Sunday. Goodby to bad rubbish!
I have one year old lg fridge with ice maker and water. line on back burst while i was on holidays! ruined hardwood floor. Not happy at all!
