White Roofs can reduce Global Warming
It’s an idea that is so logical, it’s amazing that it wasn’t thought proposed sooner. Obama’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu, a physicist, has proposed that we start building white roofs and replacing black top with concrete colored blacktop in order to reduce global warming. Scientists say the idea has merit.
It’s great that we finally have an Energy Secretary that has his head in science rather than business.
Sometimes it’s funny how things just seem to happen, yesterday my neighbor who lives directly across the road…resurfaced his driveway. I was thinking, we desparately need to do ours also. His is dark, and is a striking contrast to the fading neighboring driveways.
However, after reading your post…I guess when we do resurface our driveway, it will still be faded, but healthy…8o)
